GMO workshop and dinner

XENIA — Greene County Ohio State University Extension office will host a GMOs, Hybrids & Heirlooms Workshop 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 100 Fairground Road. Dinner will be held at 5 p.m.

This workshop will offer educational presentations.

Introduction to GMOs and the science behind them will be prresented by Lee Beers, Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator with OSU Extension Trumbull County.

Myths and Facts about Heirloom, Hybrid, and Grafted Plants to distinguish between types of vegetables will be presented by Davis Francis, Professor of Horticulture and Crop Science with OSU.

Cost is $20 and includes educational materials and catered dinner.
