FAIRBORN — The Fairborn High School Class of 1971 recently held their 45th Reunion.
They met for a casual opener at T.J. Chumps late last month, then had two nights of casual parties at the Garden Hilton Inn in Beavercreek. One gathering consisted of cold hors d’oeurves and music by classmate former DJ Dave White while a DVD of the Senior Yearbook was shown. Classmates were able to mix and talk during this time.
The following evening consisted of hot hors d’oeurves, music by White, and again, the DVD was shown. Approximately 100 people attended each night.
This DVD can be purchased for only $10 if individuals live locally and can make arrangements to pick it up or $15 if it needs to be mailed. Contact email@example.com for more details. .
The Class of 1971 was the last class to graduate from the original Fairborn High School facility. The following year, Fairborn Park Hills and Fairborn Baker High School graduated their respective classes. Fairborn High School was again “reunited” in the fall of 1983. Depending on who is asked, the Class of 1971 ranged between 640 and 700 students. Six hundred thirty nine participated in graduation ceremonies on June 7, 1971.
The Class of 1971 has their own website, www.fairborn71.com. Although individuals must join to see everything, the general public can see quite a bit. This website plays a large part in keeping classmates connected between reunions. The Class of 1971 looks forward to their 50th Reunion in 2021.
