BEAVERCREEK — Books & Co. at The Greene will host several authors and events in the coming weeks. Books & Co. is located at 4453 Walnut St.

Harry Haskell will debut Maiden Flight 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24. Maiden Flight celebrates Katharine Wright, sister of world renowned brothers, Wilbur and Orville Wright, and the wife of Harry’s grandfather Henry J. Haskell. It is the fictional telling of Katharine Wright and Henry J. Haskell’s love affair, based on personal letters, newspapers reports, and other documents of the period – in particular, Katharine’s lively and extraordinarily revealing love letters to Henry.

Nick Bruel will introduce Bad Kitty Scaredy Cat 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27. Kids, hurry home from school, put on your Halloween costume and come meet Nick Bruel as he shows you his new picture book, Bad Kitty Scaredy Cat. Bad Kitty wasn’t a scared kitty until terrifying monsters starting showing up on her doorstep. She had never seen an angry alien, a bizarre bigfoot, or a creepy clown … until Trick or Treat night.
