XENIA — Programs for all ages are planned at the Xenia Community Library, 76 E. Market St. for the month of January. To register or learn more about these programs call 937-352-4003. Toddler Story Time for ages 2-3 w/adult, 10:30-11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31.

Preschool Story Time for ages 4-5, 10:30-11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31.

Early Bookworms for grades K-3, 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 3. Read the book prior to the program and then attend the program for a rereading with fun learning activities.

Gaming and Pizza for ages 10-18, 4-5 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 3. The library has the games and the pizza. Bring your friends and be prepared to play.

Make a Mini Calendar for ages 18+, 5:30-8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 4, 11. Make a mini calendar using rubber stamps, scrapbooking papers, silk flowers, and embellishments. Registration required.

Wonder Robotics Club for ages 8-14, 4-5 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 4, 11, 18, 25, from 4-5 p.m. You drove Dash and Dot during Maker Fridays. Now learn to program these interactive robots through fun challenges. Registration required.

Book Tasting: A Book Discussion Group & Lunch at the Library, 12-1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 5. Bring your lunch and a favorite book or two to the library. Attendees will have lunch together and share reading experiences. It’s a great way to discover future reading adventures.

Maker Friday, 3:30-5 p.m., Friday, Jan. 6. Join the maker movement. A variety of maker technology will be available at the event. Each month will feature at least one new opportunity. In January, sew a simple winter hat. All ages and experience levels are welcome.

Baby Story Time for ages 0-24 mos. w/adult, 10:30-11 a.m., Friday Jan. 6, 13, 20, 27.

Afterschool Art for grades K-5, 4-5 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 9, 23. Learn about famous artists and create art of your own.

Potato Chip Tasting for ages 10-18, 4-4:45 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 10. Put your taste buds to the test and try to identify your favorite types of potato chips.

Xenia Book Club for ages 18+, 10:15-11:45 a.m., Friday, Jan. 13. Come to a book club discussion. Everyone is welcome.

Ready, Set, Draw … for ages 8+, 4-5 p.m., Monday, Jan. 17. Learn to draw in a few easy steps.

Maple Syrup 101 for ages 18+, 6-7:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 26. Learn about maple syrup making past and present.

Valentine’s Day Cards and More for ages 18+, 5:30-8 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 30. Create two beautiful Valentine’s Day cards using rubber stamps, embossing folders, and embellishments. Also use a pattern to make a gift or candy holder.
