XENIA — People of all ages can enjoy a variety programs for the month of April at the Xenia Community Library, 3618 Dayton-Xenia Road. To register for an event call at 937- 352-4000.

Still Life Drawing: Spring Theme for adults, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday, April 10. Join this class to learn some simple basics about using pastels, then create a still life drawing that captures the beauty of spring. Registration required. Call 352-4000.

Quilt of the Month Club for adults, 5:30-7:30 p.m.Wednesday, April 5. Each month there will be a new quilt block and/or a new technique to learn. Join and have a lap quilt by the end of the year. Registration required.

Book Tasting, 12-1 p.m. Thursday, April 6. Bring lunch and a favorite book or two to the library. It’s a great way to discover future reading adventures.

Maker Fun, 3:30-5 p.m. Thursday, April 6. Join the Maker Movement. Program a robot, build with Legos, create a circuit and more.

Beginning Genealogy for adults, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, April 8. This class for beginning and intermediate genealogical researchers will teach you how to use research forms, court records, vital statistics, census records, cemetery records and much more. Class materials will be provided. Lunch is on your own. Registration required.

Pajama Story Time, 6:30-7 p.m. Monday, April 10.

Crafternoon, 3:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, April 11. Drop in and get crafty and creative in the children’s area.

Parachute Play for ages 3-6, 1-1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 13.

Xenia Book Club for adults, 10:15-11:45 a.m. Friday, April 14. Come to a book club discussion.

Make a Beautiful Spring Necklace for adults, 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, April 17. Use some jewelry making techniques to create a delicate pearl necklace just in time for spring. Registration required.
