BW Greenway meeting set

FAIRBORN — The B-W Greenway Community Land Trust’s Sense of Place Program 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6 at the Fairborn Community Library will discuss how to attract more birds to your home without buying bird seed.

Michael Goldman, Conservation and Outreach Manager of the Grange Insurance Audubon Center, Columbus, Ohio will explain how planting native plants in your yard will bring a whole menagerie full of birds.

Goldman will also be going through the Audubon Center’s Plants for Birds database to help participants learn what will best grow in their gardens and what kinds of birds will be attracted.

The program will also discuss how native plants also help the local pollinator populations. For additional information, please contact the Fairborn Community Library.
