Evelyn Jones Harner, a life-long resident of Greene County, celebrated her 101st birthday Oct. 3. A party of family and fellow residents and staff of Xenia Health and Rehab Home was held Oct. 5. She and her late husband, David, raised three daughters, Nancy, Linda, and Norma. She was a 4-H advisor for 25 years and a charter member of the Xenia Township Fire Department Auxiliary. She has been a member of Oldtown Methodist Church for 85 years, serving in various positions.
