Greeneview Middle School names students of month

JAMESTOWN — Greeneview Middle School recently announced its October students of the month.

Recognized were Ronnie McKinney (eighth grade); Kaleb Paul (seventh grade); Temperance Hoke (sixth grade); and Naveah Coppess (fifth grade).

The school sent the following about each student.

McKinney is an upbeat student who is always respectful to both his teachers and his classmates. He works hard in class and participates in many activities at GMS. His goofy jokes and positive attitude make him a pleasure to have in class.

Paul is always willing to help others and does so without being told to. He is very responsible and always tries to help out when he sees a need. Paul often helps students that have missed class during study hall and is always willing to help others catch up. He promotes kindness and is a leader in the classroom.

Hoke always strives to do her best on every assignment. She stays on task the entire time and is respectful to others. Hoke also supported our school and ran in Greeneview’s first annual Broom Zoom 5K run and was the fastest girl. She is a strong, conscientious student.

Coppess is an excellent student. She completes all work on time with attention to detail. She is a conscientious student who shows compassion towards others. She participates in classroom activities and is always prepared for class. She has a great heart and shows kindness on a regular basis. Coppess makes our class a better place.
