XENIA — The Xenia Adult Recreation and Services Center has added a pair of trips to its 2015 schedule.

A trip to Wheeling, W.Va., for the Oglebay Festival Lights is set for Nov. 13-14. The cost is $266 per person for a double room. It includes roundtrip motor coach, one night at the Oglebay Resort, a tour of the mansion and glass museum, a guide for the festival of lights, dinner buffet, cordial gathering, breakfast and trip insurance. A $25 deposit is due by Aug. 30. The balance is due by Sept. 30. Contact the XARSC for single, triple and quad rates.

The Mersey Beatles are making their U.S. debut in Ohio in October and the XARSC will be at the band’s Oct. 22 performance at the Aronoff Center in Cincinnati. The Mersey Beatles is the world’s only all-Liverpool-born Beatles tribute band. John Lennon’s sister, Julia Baird, who is rumored to be in Cincinnati for the show, said, “There are a lot of Beatles tribute bands from all over the world and I have seen them all, but The Mersey Beatles are the best I’ve heard.” The cost is $93 per person, with a $20 deposit due by Sept. 5 unless it’s sold out before that. The balance is due no later than Oct. 5. The price includes roundtrip motorcoach and reserved seats in the theater. The show is at 7:30 pm. The bus will leave at 5:30 p.m., returning around 11 p.m.

For more information about any of these trips, contact Rosemary Fawley at 937-376-0282 or XARSC at 937-376-4353.
