SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Air Force Airman 1st Class Exavier Cain graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Cain is the son of Ana Velez of Fairborn, and Michael Cain of Panama City Beach, Fla., step-son of Angelina Cain of Panama City Beach, Fla., grandson of Charles and Antonia Cain of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Gerado Velez of Hahira, Ga., and nephew of Madalene Velez of Valdosta, Ga. He is a 2014 graduate of Bethel High School, Hampton, Va.
