XENIA —The annual Xenia First Church of Christ Fourth of July Program will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, July 1-3, at the church.
Presented by the Liberty Ensemble, there is also a pre-show concert 6:30 p.m. by the Xenia Hospitality Chorus beginning. The Liberty Ensemble will present, “It’s America!” featuring the songs Americans sing about their land. The musical drama presents historically flavored narrations and music of a down-home, uplifting slice of America. A salute to the Armed Forces is a favorite part of the program, when those audience members past and present of the Armed Forces are honored. During the singing of “This Land Is Your Land Medley,” the audience will be taken on a musical journey across America.
The concert is free to the community and no tickets are required.
