BEAVERCREEK — The Beavercreek City School District has hired Greg Thompson as its director of business services beginning July 1, according to a release from the district.

Thompson’s employment was approved by the Board of Education during its May meeting.

Thompson will administer the purchasing, maintenance, custodial, transportation, copy center, courier and food service programs. Thompson will also act as the district’s safety director.

“This district has a lot going for it and I want to maintain the high standards that currently exist,” Thompson said in the release.

Thompson comes to Beavercreek City Schools from Dublin City Schools, where he served his district in a variety of capacities. Prior to that, he worked for the city of Dublin in its Parks and Recreation Department.

Thompson plans to relocate to Beavercreek with his wife, Christie and their two children, Katelyn and Cole.
