Second Healthy Halloween Hustle set

XENIA — The Xenia Community Schools Foundation is holding the 2nd Annual Healthy Halloween Hustle 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 at Shawnee Park.

It will be a health-focused 5k run/walk open to everyone. Registration is $15 for adults and $10 for students K-12. Children under 5 are able to participate in the one-mile Fun Run and will receive a participation ribbon and a pumpkin. All pre-registered participants will receive a long sleeve t-shirt with the event logo.

Online registration will be available soon at xcsfoundation.com. Registration forms are available at the Xenia Community Festival, Sept. 16-17.

Several levels of sponsorship are available, including individual sponsorships at $50. Corporate sponsorships begin at $100. Sponsor names will appear on the event shirt. Information about sponsorships is available on the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce website and at the community festival.

This fundraiser for the Xenia Community Schools Grant Program is a joint effort between the XCS and the Xenia Community Schools Foundation. Xenia Community Schools Foundation is an Ohio non-profit 501(C) (3) corporation. Gifts made to the XCSF qualify as tax deductible charitable contributions. The XCSF’s purpose, among others, is to seek funding to be used for the benefit of faculty and students by embracing or going beyond the usual.
