McGill appointed to Bellbrook council

BELLBROOK — Darryl McGill has been appointed to fill a vacant seat on the Bellbrook City Council.

McGill fills the seat vacated by Jon Martin, who moved out of the city in July. McGill was chosen Sept. 12 from a pool of 12 residents.

His term will begin Oct. 1 and expire Dec. 31, 2019.

McGill has served on the board of the Green Meadow Ranch Homeowner’s Association, as well as the Bellbrook Board of Zoning Appeals, Planning Board, and Charter Review Commission.

In his professional life, McGill has extensive experience as a senior business partner in human resources and industrial relations, and has provided strategic guidance to management in steel, automotive, manufacturing and retail industries. He also holds a certification in human resources management, Six Sigma and safety.

He and his wife, Karen, have lived in Bellbrook for 12 years.
