Xenia Daily Gazette

XENIA — The Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its five awards handed out during its annual dinner Feb. 25, 2017.

The five are the F.M. Torrence Award, S.L. Stephen Award, Russ Remick Retail-Service Award, Dodds Monument Industrial Award, and The Barb Zajbel Xenia Ambassador Award.

The Torrence award honors a chamber member for a lifetime of promoting the business, culture, educational, religious and civic life in the Xenia community; the Stephen award honors a chamber member who has promoted the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce and the community for at least the past two years; the Dodds award publicly recognizes a chamber member company that has distinguished itself in manufacturing, in research and development or in distribution and warehousing; and the Zajbel award honors an individual, organization or business — chamber or non-chamber member — that has promoted Xenia locally, regionally, nationally and/or internationally.

Any chamber member may nominate as many people/businesses as they would like for each award. Self-nominations are also accepted. Nomination forms are available on the XACC website.

Nominations may be completed online and submitted electronically, downloaded, completed and delivered to the XACC office at 334 W. Market St., or emailed to [email protected].

All nominations are due by Dec. 19.
