FAIRBORN —The Extended Stay America experienced an armed robbery approximately 3:45 a.m. Thursday.
Fairborn Police said a man walked into the hotel, on the 3700 block of Presidential Drive, pointed a gun at the clerk, demanded money, received the money and fled on foot. Police do not currently have a description of a vehicle. Our partners at WDTN reported that no one was injured.
Fairborn Police asked for assistance from the Kettering Police Department K-9 unit, according to news reports. Fairborn Police officials said the investigation is continuing.
