XENIA — The Xenia High School Student Council is collecting supplies to put together baskets to help local cancer patients during chemotherapy and radiation.

They are collecting items for December 4th delivery to four local hospitals. New or never been used supplies include robes, blankets, socks, hats and gloves, puzzles, crafts/toy sets, crayons/markers, puzzle and coloring books, and other items like hand soap, unscented lotion, and candy. Cash donations are also accepted to purchase additional supplies.

Representatives from the Xenia High School Student Council presented the program at a recent Xenia Kiwanis Club meeting. The Kiwanis club collected many items for the service project to help patients battling against cancer as well as presenting a check. Anyone who would be able to help with this project can contact Council Advisor Debb Rucker at 937-562-9992 or at [email protected]
