CEDARVILLE — Cedar Cliff Local Schools named its November students of the month.
Recognized were: Haydon Martin (sixth grade); Nathan Wrightsel (seventh grade); Alyssa Cooley (eighth grade); Elijah Abel (ninth grade); Nick Shaw (10th grade); Ben Heath (11th grade); and Katelyn Winter (12th grade).
Martin has a great work ethic and attitude and always gives 100-percent effort in everything he does, according to information provided by the school district. His attitude is consistently positive and he adds so much to class discussions with questions and thoughtful insights.
Wrightsel is an extremely hard worker, participates in class, uses time wisely and always does what is asked of him in class, according the school. He has an approachable positive disposition and a good attitude.
Cooley is a great student who always goes above and beyond to do good work. She is willing to put in the extra time to make sure the job is done well, the school said.
Abel is a positive contributor to the class with a sense of humor. School officials said he is an excellent student who asks great questions in class and who always does his work in an exemplary manner.
Shaw is an extremely helpful student who volunteers consistently. His teachers said they also appreciate his wonderful academic skills. Has worked hard to be a leader this year.
Heath is a superior student, is humble and helpful, and offers insightful comments in class, the school said. He is a hard worker who pushes himself academically and intellectually. Heath also takes responsibility and contributes to “the greater good” without looking for reward.
Winter is a hard worker, very conscientious in all that she does, according to the school. She is always trying to stay positive. She’s empathetic and appreciative.
