BEAVERCREEK — The Beavercreek Women’s League will hold its monthly meeting Jan. 4 at Peace Lutheran Church. The meeting will feature a panel of experts for a discussion about education’s hot topics for 2017.

Genealogy informational session

XENIA — Have genealogy questions? Stuck on your family research and don’t know where to go next? Join the Greene County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7 at the Xenia Public Library for “Ask the Experts.” The session will have a panel of experienced genealogical researchers to help you find your ancestors. The event will also include a brief tour of the Greene County Room to show you what resources are available for your research right in Greene County. Greeneview school board meeting

JAMESTOWN — The Greeneview Local School District Board of Education will hold the annual budget hearing 6:45 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017 followed by the organizational and regular meeting 7:00 p.m. The meetings are held at the Board Office, 4 S. Charleston Rd, Jamestown.

Cedar Cliff board

CEDARVILLE — Unless otherwise noted, regular Cedar Cliff Local Board of Education meetings are the third Monday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Cedar Cliff Local Board Room. Special notices will announce variation of these meetings.

Council meeting

JAMESTOWN — The Village of Jamestown council meetings are held 7 p.m. the first and third Mondays of each month. If the date falls on a holiday, the meeting will be held on Tuesday. Work sessions will be held 6:30 p.m. prior to the regular meeting when needed. The Jamestown Board of Public Affairs meet 10 a.m. the first and third Fridays of each month and the park board meets 6 p.m. the second Thursday of each month. All meetings are held at the Municipal Building, 84 Seaman Drive.

XENIA TOWNSHIP — The Xenia Township Board of Trustees hereby gives notice that all regular meetings for the calendar year will be held 7 p.m. on the first and third Thursdays of each month with Trustees’ Work Sessions preceding at 5 p.m. at the Township Office, 8 Brush Row Road.
