0

JAMESTOWN — Greeneview Middle School recently announced its students of the month for November.

Recognized were: Madison Sandlin (eighth grade); Kionna Thompson (seventh grade); Kaylie Hammond and Emma Bick (sixth grade) and Emma Hassid (fifth grade).

Sandlin is a top student, always pleasant, volunteers in class and is very thorough in her work, according to her teachers. She not only shows she can succeed, but also demonstrates leadership abilities.

Thompson is an extremely hard worker who actively participates in class. She is also very pleasant and willing to help out anytime, her teachers said.

Bick and Hammond are hard working, conscientious students who are respectful of others, the school said. They have been volunteering at Bethany Village retirement home as part of a school project and also spent time making Christmas cards for the residents. They have gone above and beyond the expectations for their school project and have shown their passion for other people and how caring they are in how they treat the people in retirement communities.

Hassid is a positive role model for all students to follow. She is hard working, respectful, and kind, according to the school. She participates in all classroom activities and strives to be her best on a daily basis. Hassid’s work ethic and sense of citizenship make her stand out in the crowd and she displays characteristics of a true Greeneview Ram.
