WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation is inviting all military spouses, employers and service organizations to join a two day career development event.
The event kicks off with an evening networking reception and closes with a hiring fair. Service members and veterans are also welcome.
It takes place 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 8 to Thursday, March at 1 p.m. Hope Hotel — Richard C Holbrooke Conference Center Building #823 Area A, Gate 12A at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
From 7 – 9 p.m. Thursday, March 8, a networking reception, including speed mentoring sessions, is slated to take place. The networking reception provides opportunities to engage with recruiters, community leaders, local professionals and senior military spouses, resume guidance before the hiring fair, access to valuable contacts and career advice from industry professionals.
From 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday, March 9, the event will include a hiring fair. The hiring fair features employers committed to hiring military spouses, a career spark demonstration aimed to show military spouses how to build skills-based resumes, career resources and tools from non-profit partners
