FAIRBORN — A suspect in a robbery involving a cell phone is in theGreene County Jail on $100,000 bond.
Demarcus Washington, 19, was arrested in Gary, Ind., on a robbery warrant after he allegedly stuck a 23-year-old male with a fireman and took a cell phone, valued at $794, in November 2016 according to a Fairborn police report.
Washington was booked into the jail Feb. 14 and charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, a first-degree felony. A pretrial hearing is set for Tuesday, March 14, followed by a final pretrial Wednesday, March 29. A jury trial is scheduled for Monday, April 17 in Judge Michael Buckwalter’s courtroom.
Washington is believed to be from the Chicago area, according to Fairborn police.
