XENIA — Xenia police have a suspect in the Feb. 22 shooting of a resident on Vermont Drive.

Andrew R. Lott, 32, was arrested April 27 for attempted murder. He was taken into custody at the Greene County Courthouse without incident, according to Captain Alonzo Wilson.

Police in February said the homeowner may have heard something outside the home in the 1900 block shortly before 6:30 a.m. and when he went to look out the back door was shot. There were no signs of forced entry but there was damage to the back of the home, Wilson said. The homeowner was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with non life-threatening injuries and survived.

Lott was previously arrested in March after an early morning standoff with police and SWAT on Stevenson Road. Lott and his girlfriend, Nicole Keeton, 28, were later taken into custody from a home on West Richard Drive by the Greene County Regional SWAT team without incident. Lott was wanted by Xenia police on a felony weapon violation, while Keeton also had arrest warrants.

The standoff began around 11 p.m. March 16 as sheriff’s officials surrounded the home in the 1200 block around 11 p.m.

Wilson said no additional details are available as the investigation continues and additional arrests are possible.
