Advanced Outdoor Skills Camp offered

BEAVERCREEK — Join Greene County Parks and Trails for its Advanced Outdoor Skills Camp from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 19 to Wednesday, June 21, and 9 a.m. Thursday, June 22, to noon, Friday, June 23, at the Narrows Reserve Nature Center, 2575 Indian Ripple Road.

Campers will spend the night Thursday, June 23, to put their new skills into practice.

Participants between the ages of nine and 15 will build on their basic outdoor skills to build a lean-to to sleep in, cook their supper over a fire as well as use a map and compass to find buried treasure. Dinner, snack and breakfast will be provided.

All registered campers must have completed Basic Outdoor Skills.

Cost for the program is $110 for Greene County residents and $120 for non-residents. Participants must pre-register before June 14.
