XENIA — Brand new oversized wreaths have been purchased to decorate the Greene County Courthouse and surrounding county offices for the holidays.

Several members of the Greene County Parks & Trails (GCP&T) Maintenance Division, who maintain the Greene County courthouse lawn and decorate for the holidays, recently unpacked the first of the wreaths.

Three eight-foot wreaths with bows and LED lights will be displayed on the Greene County Courthouse. Three six-foot wreaths will be placed near the entrances to the Greene County Auditor’s Office, Administration Office and Treasurer’s Office as well as four four-foot wreaths at the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office, Personnel Office, Coroner’s Office and Public Defender’s Office. Four additional door wreaths will be placed at the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Greene County Jail and Greene County Family and Children’s Services Office.

Several trees will also be decorated with LED lights and two spotlights will be placed to highlight the Blue Spruce trees on the courthouse lawn.
