JAMESTOWN — Greeneview Middle School announced its September students of the month.
Recoginized were Logan England (eighth grade), Carter Williams (seventh grade), Jadah Albietz (sixth grade), and Ellie Pearson (fifth grade).
Pearson is polite, respectful and enthusiastic, the school said. She brings her great smile to class every day and goes above and beyond what is usually expected. She comes to school each day prepared to learn. Pearson is willing to ask questions when she doesn’t understand. She asks thoughtful questions that make class more interesting. She is willing to take chances and always volunteers to help.
Albietz is a conscientious student who exemplifies hard work, according to the school. She is kind and polite to her fellow classmates. Albietz is also a good role model for other students inside and outside of school.
Williams has shown leadership in the way he conducts himself in class, his teachers said. He sets a great example by the effort he puts into his work, the positive attitude he brings to class and the help he offers others. Williams is always willing to work with all students and tries to offer guidance without crushing others’ ideas. On several occasions in class, he has spoken up for those who are sometimes afraid to ask, and motivated those unwilling to try. he demonstrates citizenship with his actions and the way he treats others.
England has turned his behavior around and made significant improvements both with choices and academics, according to his teachers. He is more focused and respectful and has a pleasant attitude.
