CEDARVILLE — Cedarville Opera House will present the Xenia Hospitality Chorus 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 17.
The 25-man vocal group, directed by Don McAdams, will sing music in the barbershop style. Four of the group’s members, a quartet called 4 Speed, will sing as well.
Established in 1953, the chorus is a chapter of the International Barbershop Harmony Society, performing throughout Xenia and surrounding areas and supporting high school music departments. The group varies between 25-45 members, rehearsing 7:30 p.m. every Thursday at the First Church of Christ, 441 Ledbetter Road in Xenia.
The group’s repertoire will include songs like “I’ve Been Working on the Railroad,” “Hello, Mary Lou” and “This Little Light of Mine,” as well as St. Patrick’s Day-appropriate songs like “My Wild Irish Rose” and “Irish Blessing.”
Tickets can be purchased at the door or online at cedarvilleoperahouse.org. Cost is $10 for adults, $8 for students and seniors and $35 for families. Call 937-766-5400 for more information. Doors open at 7 p.m.
