FAIRBORN — The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Greene County is sponsoring its annual “Student Send Off” Picnic 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5 at Fairborn Community Park East for all new students of Greene County who will be entering OSU this fall.

The event is planned to give entering students the opportunity to meet each other and have their questions answered by a panel of current OSU students. Parents are also encouraged to attend to become acquainted with alumni leaders, students, and other parents from the area.

There is no charge for attendees; however, advance reservations are needed. Reservations will be accepted through Wednesday, Aug. 1 by contacting John Feltz at [email protected] or 937-878-2895.

The event will be held rain or shine at a park shelter. The park is located west of Fairborn High School on Dayton-Yellow Springs Road. From Interstate 675 take Exit 20. Dress is casual OSU attire. Picnic food will be provided by the Alumni Club at no charge. Activities will be included to promote Buckeye spirit.
