BBB hosts website essential workshop

DAYTON — Making an organization’s website as effective as possible, capturing visitors’ attention and engaging them to interact will be the focus of a workshop offered by the Better Business Bureau.

Website Essentials: Your Virtual Brick And Mortar will take place 8-10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 16, Montgomery County Business Solutions Center, 1435 Cincinnati St., Ste. 300. Cost is $25, which includes light breakfast.

The Better Business Bureau serving Dayton & the Miami Valley, Advertising Review Council (ARC) and American Advertising Federation – Dayton have joined forces on this event to help you build your dream website, much like building your dream home. Whether you’re building your business’ website from scratch or maintaining a current site.

Speaker Kim Wright will discuss starting with the basics by laying the foundation of your company’s virtual brick and mortar, as well as explore ways to ensure your company’s web site is functional, accessible and safe.

Philip Roestamadji, Lion+Panda, will talk about custom building your dream website, covering tips on search engine optimization, content marketing and using video to tell your company’s story.
