XENIA — The Xenia Area Fish Food Pantry is holding its Second Annual Day of Giving Saturday, Oct. 27.

The pantry is in need of instant mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, green beans and boxed desserts for Thanksgiving. Anyone wishing to donate those items can do so 10 a.m. to 2 pm. at 541 Ledbetter Road. There will be a drop-off station in the front of the building.

Any groups, organizations, churches, or schools who would like to hold a food drive for the month of October can do so and then and then drop off items that day as well. All donations will put food on the table residents who utilize the pantry.

Cash donations to buy Turkeys will also be accepted. The pantry is hoping to provide food for 600 families throughout most of Greene County.
