XENIA — The Greene County Domestic and Sexual Violence Consortium will honor those involved in law enforcement response to domestic violence calls and have demonstrated exceptional services and or support to victims of domestic violence and their children.

The annual Law Enforcement Awards Ceremony will be held 12 p.m. Oct. 31 in the Media Room at the Department of Job and Family Services, 541 Ledbetter Road.

Each October, which is nationally recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Consortium accepts nominations of those involved in law enforcement response to domestic violence from service providers in Greene County. From these nominations come the award winners. This year promises to be an exciting year full of honor and appreciation.

If you are a victim of domestic violence or know someone that is, please contact your local police department, or the Family Violence Prevention Center of Greene County.
