Pedestrian killed crossing Colonel Glenn Highway

BEAVERCREEK — A Greene County man died after being struck by a vehicle on Colonel Glenn Highway Wednesday night.

According to a release from Beavercreek police, Daniel Roberts, 55, was struck while walking south across the roadway by a vehicle traveling east. The incident reportedly occurred at about 9 p.m. at the 3900 block of Colonel Glenn Highway near Grange Hall Road.

Roberts was transported to Soin Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

“It is unknown at this time if alcohol was a factor, as the crash remains under investigation,” the release stated.

The driver of the vehicle was not reported injured.
