CEDARVILLE – Cedarville University was recently listed among the 50 best Christian online MBA programs in the United States.

Christianuniversitiesonline.org ranked Cedarville 13th overall and second-best in Ohio. Mount Vernon Nazarene University in central Ohio was No. 12 overall.

Cedarville was recognized for many factors, including its sixth-place ranking among midwest universities according to U.S. News & World Report. Cedarville’s business program is accredited by ACBSP, and its MBA program is focused on helping working Christian professionals through a flexible, affordable option. Courses are taught in a student-friendly eight-week format, and the 36-credit hour program can be completed in 24 months.

Christianuniversitiesonline.org considered only accredited programs by either Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS) or the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU). Programs with a full-time MBA program were identified and then ranked based on the number of MBA concentrations (20 percent), tuition cost (40 percent) and special business school accreditation (40 percent).

Graduates with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree are highly sought after by employers according to the website, and according to financial statistics, MBA graduates earn significantly more than those with only undergraduate degrees.

Mississippi College was No. 1 overall. Malone University in Ohio was ranked No. 16 and Ohio Christian University was No. 22.
