Pastor to celebrate seven years

XENIA — Glory Ministries Church will celebrate the seventh anniversary of its pastor, the Rev. Dr. Gloria Dillon. The celebration takes place during the 10 a.m. worship service Sunday, Sept. 20 at 880 Hoop Road.

The worship service will have guest preacher the Rev. Felicia Bagernis, assistant minister of United AME Church of Xenia who will deliver the Anniversary message. Light refreshments will be served after the worship service.

Dillon is a native of Zanesville, a retired educator of 34 years and a graduate of Central State University. She received her masters degree from University of Dayton and her Doctor of Ministry from United Theological Seminary. She is a member of Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and board member of Central State University Campus Ministry. She is married to Vermon L. Dillon and has two sons Charles and Micah, and five grandchildren.
