Remembring Louise Hunt Elliott

XENIA — Louise Hunt Elliott was born in Xenia in 1907. Her parents were local business people who first owned a bicycle shop and later a broom factory. She graduated from Xenia Central High School and then became a legal secretary. She worked for two judges and three prosecuting attorneys, served as Chief Deputy Recorder of Greene County, Deputy City Auditor and then Xenia City Auditor. She was also the Deputy Clerk of the Municipal Court. Later she worked for private attorneys. She served as Executive Secretary of The Greene County Historical Society from 1960 to 1969.
