Camp is around the corner

Summer is right around the corner and that means 4-H camp will be happening in a few short weeks.

Greene County 4-H camps at 4-H Camp Clifton in Yellow Springs. We have an overnight residential camp and a day camp for youth. Youth do not have to be members of 4-H to attend!

4-H camp is focused on developing life skills for our youth with the overall message of learn by doing. Some of these important life skills learned during camp such as leadership, character development, self-esteem, and decision making skills. These skills learned at camp and through 4-H, are skills that help promote healthy productive citizens who are ready to lead in the workplace.

4-H camp experiences are some of the most memorable experiences during their time as a member. The theme for 2016 overnight residential camp is “Holidays in June” and “Wild Wild West” for Cloverbud Day Camp. We have a special activity for overnight residential camp focused on honeybees.

4-H camp will take place on June 23-June 27 with the day camp on June 24. Day camp is geared to youth in Kindergarten and 5 through 2nd grade.
