XENIA — Members of the Central State University football team volunteered their time helping workers at the Xenia Adult Recreation & Services Center last week.

The Marauders spent the day cleaning service vehicles used for senior citizen transportation.

The Xenia Adult Recreation and Services Center is a one-stop resource for a variety of services to the aging and disabled citizens of Greene County.

The Marauders continue to stay active in the surrounding community. The team has also been involved with a year-long student mentorship program at Morrison Elementary and have helped volunteers at Greene Memorial Hospital.

The Xenia Adult Recreation and Services Center was organized in 1968 for the purpose of providing recreational, educational and volunteer opportunities for the older adults. The Center seeks to create a sense of community and support, and allows seniors to continue to be involved and to utilize their skills to the fullest.
