CEDARVILLE — Cedarville University’s Jordan Reese has been selected the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Golfer of the Year.
The junior from the Village of Cedarville earned the recognition in a vote by the league’s coaches.
Reese is joined on the All-G-MAC Team by senior Taylor Holt and sophomore Carter Ehms.
Reese averaged 74.96 strokes per 18 holes this year which is the seventh-lowest single-season scoring average in school history. His career average of 76.58 rates fifth all-time at CU.
Reese tied for fifth place in the G-MAC Championship last month. He won the G-MAC Fall Invitational with rounds of 71-69-140 (4-under).
Holt, a native of Dayton, led the squad with a 74.91 average this season which is sixth on the school’s all-time list. He graduates with a 76.99 career average which ties for seventh among all Yellow Jackets.
Ehms, who is from Cranberry Township, Pa., played his way onto the G-MAC Team by tying for a fifth place finish in the conference championship. He averaged 79.48 this season.
