Naylor, James earn All-Ohio honors
COLUMBUS — Xenia High School seniors Danny Naylor and Rocky James were both named to the Associated Press All-Ohio team for Division II football players, on Monday.
James earned second-team All-Ohio honors as the Buccaneers wide receiver. He caught 45 passes for 785 yards and 13 touchdowns this season.
Naylor received All-Ohio Special Recognition as Xenia’s quarterback after throwing for 2,414 yards and completing 176 of 293 passes for 28 touchdowns.
There were no Greene County-area student-athletes named to the Division I All-Ohio team, which was also announced on Monday. All-Ohio selections for Divisions III through VII will be named later this week.

Rams lose road opener
SPRINGFIELD — Austin Petry scored a team-high 14 points and Ethan Bradds scored nine for Greeneview (0-1), but host Northwestern outscored the Rams 17-9 in the fourth quarter to win 56-44, Saturday.
Northwestern’s Ellis Ulery led the Warriors (1-1) with a game-high 19 points.
