XENIA — The city is teaming up OhioMeansJobs Greene County and the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce to hold a job fair Sept. 24.
Thirty businesses are expected to attend including Clark State Community College, Cornerstone Research Group, Inc., Greene Memorial Hospital, the City of Xenia, Teleperformance, Crestview Manor, Nuvasive Manufacturing, Home Care by Black Stone and Beavercreek Marriott.
“We find that many employers have job openings that many of our residents can fill,” City Manager Brent Merriman said. “We want to work with our job fair presenting partners … to present a job fair that will not only open up employment opportunities in our city and beyond, but will improve the quality of life of all our residents and make Xenia and the surrounding area an even better place to live, work, play and visit.”
The event is set to run 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Greene County Media Room, 571 Ledbetter Road, Xenia. It is free to the public. and veterans are welcome.
