XENIA — The Xenia Adult Recreation and Services Center has scheduled its annual health and information fair.
Taking place during National Healthy Aging Month and National Senior Center Month, the fair will run 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23 at the senior center, 130 E. Church St.
There will be more than 25 vendors with information on issues related to aging, including long term care, retirement and rehab facilities, vision and hearing, skin cancer, diabetes and foot care, Medicare open enrollment, energy assistance, travel, library resources, volunteer opportunities, nutrition and wellness information, caregiver resources and more.
Walgreens will offer flu shots. Attendees are told to bring their Medicare card. There will be free screenings offered by various vendors as well as door prizes and other giveaways.
