FAIRBORN — Jeff Dunham, the popular and internationally acclaimed comic/ventriloquist is loading up the bus along with his cast of characters and heading to Wright State University’s Nutter Center Sunday, Dec. 6 on their “Perfectly Unbalanced” International Tour.

Dunham hand-crafts each character personally from conception to the final coat of paint, then brings them to life on stage. His beloved troupe of sidekicks include Walter, the grumpy retiree; Achmed, the dead terrorist; Bubba J, the beer-fueled redneck; Peanut, the manic purple creature; Jose Jalapeno, the spicy pepper from south of the border and Little Jeff, a mini-version of the ringmaster himself.

The first leg of the tour begins in Green Bay, Wis. and will include stops in Topeka, Kan.; Bloomington, Ill. and Fairborn before the crew heads over to Pittsburgh, Pa.; Indianapolis, Ind.; Albany N.Y.; Boston, Mass.; Portland, Ore. and several cities in Ontario Canada.

The famed comedian has literally been all over the map throughout his career, visiting five continents and twelve countries, including the UK, South Africa, Australia, the Middle East and Asia, where he continuously performed to sold-out arenas.

November of 2014 saw Dunham and his sidekicks begin their six month residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. By overwhelming popular demand “Not Playing with a Full Deck” was held over through October 2015.

Dunham shot his seventh comedy special “Jeff Dunham: Unhinged in Hollywood” in August during a two-night stand at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles with special guest Brad Paisley. The special premiered on NBC Sept. 17 to a staggering seven million viewers, which equates to roughly 5 percent of United States televisions tuned in.

Comedy Central gave “Unhinged in Hollywood” its cable television premiere on Nov. 1. The original airing garnered more than 1.8 million total viewers, topping its lead-in by triple digit percentages across the board, and ranked as the highest rated comedy special of the year for the network. “Unhinged in Hollywood” is now available on DVD/Blu-ray nationwide.

The New York Times Magazine declared Dunham “the most successful comedian working in America.” He has been named Pollstar’s #1 Comedy Tour in North America for three years running as well as its top worldwide tour for two years in a row, while setting the record for viewership on Comedy Central.
