Visitors to Greene County Parks & Trails’ Russ Nature Reserve in Beavercreek can now combine a relaxing hike through the woodlands with learning about the trees that call the 90-acre park home. With assistance from Ammon Keller’s Eagle Scout project, approximately 27 varying species of trees now have identification plaques that can either be viewed or used with a QR code to easily access more information. The reserve is at 2380 Kemp Road.
