BEAVERCREEK — Now in its 34th year, the Beavercreek Youth Softball Asssociation is the host organization for youth softball for 1,300 area youth on 78 teams this season.
The BYSA provides seven co-ed youth softball leagues — Minor League (for kindergartners); Rookie League (First and Second grade); Junior League (Third and Fourth grade); Pre-Teen League (Fifth and Sixth grade); Teen League (Seventh and Eighth grade); Majors League (Ninth and Tenth grade); and Seniors League (Eleventh and Twelfth grade).
According to the BYSA’s beavercreeksoftball.com website, the program’s vision is: “to provide a wholesome summertime recreational activity that stresses the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship not only during game time but in all actions of one’s life.”
The BYSA motto: “Fostering teamwork, good sportsmanship, and community spirit.”
The Association promotes responsibility and leadership by employing area youth as game umpires, field preparation support, and concession stand workers.
