XENIA —The Greene Community Health Foundation is accepting mini-grant applications.
The foundation offers five to 10 mini-grants up to $1,000 each — as funds allow — to help support Greene County programs that focus on:
— Youth involvement;
— Promotion of healthy lifestyles;
— Addressing a current public health issue;
— Provision of crucial information to allow individuals to practice disease prevention;
— Showcasing resources for, and provision of, grass-roots health care and information;
— Gaining additional support for the ongoing efforts to improve health year-round;
— Increasing the opportunity to collaborate with other Greene County resources.
The mission of the foundation is to provide health and wellness assistance to families in need throughout Greene County. By raising funds and participating in community outreach opportunities, the foundation serves as a valuable resource to Greene County residents who need assistance or services. With support from the community, the foundation can continue to make a difference every day.
