BELLBROOK — The FBI, Miamisburg Police and MetroPark Police began searching Sugarcreek MetroPark around 6:30 a.m. July 10 in connection with the Chelsey Coe case, Miamisburg Police confirmed.

Sugarcreek MetroPark will remain closed to the public sunrise to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 11 and Thursday, July 12, its webpage says.

According to our partners at WDTN, the Miamisburg Police Department said in a release that they and other law enforcement agencies including the FBI, Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and several K-9 teams were searching for evidence in the Chelsey Coe case at the park.

In March, law enforcement searched a home in Miamisburg looking for evidence in the Coe case, WDTN reported. Coe, 26, has been missing since last August, one of five other women who’ve disappeared within a 35-mile radius over recent months.
