XENIA — The City of Xenia is aiming to honor its veterans.

Anyone who has served or is serving — or relatives of service members — are invited to send a photo, name, title, military branch and years of service to the city to be included in the tribute.

“We just want to do more to recognized the veterans in our community,” said City Manager Brent Merriman.

A photo collage will appear on the city’s various media including Channel 5 and the website. The city is working in tandem with Greene County Veteran’s Service on this project.

“We really want to call on the public to add their loved one,” Merriman said.

Information should be sent to https://www.ci.xenia.oh.us/803/6606/Honoring-Xenias-Veterans by Friday, Nov. 2 to be included.

While the city prefers to focus on Xenia residents, any county resident is welcome to send in their information.

Veterans Day is Sunday, Nov. 11.
