JEFFERSONVILLE – Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc. raised $14,419.11 in the Jeffersonville-area to help in the fight against breast cancer during the 22nd annual Tanger PinkSTYLE Campaign.
Donations will benefit breast cancer organizations in the local community and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). More than $3,500 was donated to Fayette County Memorial Hospital’s Women’s Wellness Center, a women’s center featuring gynecological and radiological services, digital mammography, women’s support groups, meditation and spa services.
“Our annual breast cancer campaign gives us the opportunity to raise awareness and help save lives in the communities that we call home,” said Steven B. Tanger, president and chief executive officer for Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc. “The success of our annual PinkSTYLE campaign is made possible through the support of our retail partners and the millions of shoppers that visit Tanger Outlet centers dedicated to finding a cure for breast cancer.”
The 2015 PinkSTYLE Campaign was celebrated across 42 Tanger Outlet Centers in the United States and Canada. Beginning in September, customers were able to purchase a Powerful Pink Savings Pass to save 25 percent off on a single item at participating stores. Purchases of the unlimited savings pass benefited breast cancer organizations in local communities as well as nationally through the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), the nation’s highest-rated breast cancer organization.
“We are excited that we were able to partner with Tanger Outlets this year for the Powerful Pink Style Pack cards and that the money will be used here at FCMH to provide massage and meditation services to cancer survivors and those currently receiving treatments,” said Chelsie Hornsby, FCMH director of business development.
