XENIA – Recently Greene County lost one its leading citizens. Lizz Studebaker was a friend to everyone who knew her, and a very special lady. She spent most of her life as a journalist, one of best when it came to providing accurate information from her many interviews. She was proud of her accomplishments, and equally proud of her husband Jerry for all he did for the community. One of her greatest pleasures was when she and Jerry were honored as Grand Marshalls for the Old Fashioned Days parade. It is often said “she never met a stranger.” In Lizz’s case, a few minutes of chatting and you were friends.
