CLIFTON — Howard Printz was a man with a vision. He was a resident of Clifton, living in a home which had at one time been a shot tower. He wanted to restore the Clifton Opera House and so began to solicit funds and donated labor to accomplish the restoration. As President of the Clifton Historical Society, he acquired suitable seating, lighting and other furnishings for the opera house. His vision included having stage presentations again. The building was restored and is in use today, thanks largely to this man who had a vision and acted on it.
